Temporary exhibition realized in the Museum GranUM.
A documentary-historical exhibition about the emigration of the local stonecutters to America, especially to Barre (Vermont), the capital of America granite.
The event is part of the festival “La pietra racconta 2025”, realised in collaboration from Città di Baveno, Comune di Mergozzo and GAM and the support of Fondazione Comunitaria VCO.
The exhibition will be open:
from 17/05/25 to 05/10/25 every day from 9 am to 12.30 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm
from 06/10/25 to 28/02/26 from Monday to Saturday from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm; on Thuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays also from 3 pm to 6 pm.
