The third edition of the Music and Spirituality festival brings attention back to questioning, to reflecting on what authorial music can do to give voice to an inner need. The protagonist of the evening in Baveno will be Francesco ‘Fry’ Moneti: founder of the Arezzo folk band Casa del Vento and with the Modena City Ramblers for 30 years, violinist and guitarist since an early age. He has played all over the world, from Bolivia to Cuba, from South Africa to Palestine, from Mexico to Guatemala, he has published a solo album, “Cosmic rambler”, where he composed, played and sang all the songs and a novel entitled “In un elaborato impeto d’ira”. He appears as an actor in the film “Gangs of New York” by Martin Scorsese, with Leonardo Di Caprio, Daniel Day Lewis and Cameron Diaz, playing the part of the violinist and playing a song from the soundtrack. Before the live there will be a conversation in which the artist reveals himself, talking with the journalist and essayist Pierfrancesco Pacoda, bringing to the Festival his own vision of spirituality, not in a strictly religious sense, but in the sense of a relationship with a non-material dimension, detached from pure musical production. In case of bad weather the event will be held in the Nostr@domus Cultural Center.
